By accessing or using the AfroFit Academy platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before purchasing any product or coaching package.
01. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By registering an account, purchasing a coaching package, or purchasing an eBook on the AfroFit Academy platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use in full.
02. ELIGIBILITY
You must be 16 years of age or older to purchase a coaching package. Clients under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent. The Sports Performance Program requires guardian approval for clients under the age of 18. All clients must complete an eligibility assessment before purchasing a coaching package. AfroFit Academy reserves the right to decline service to any individual whose assessment responses indicate that participation may pose a health risk.
03. COACHING PACKAGES
Coaching packages provide access to structured 12-week fitness programs delivered through the AfroFit Academy platform. All programs are accessible exclusively through the client dashboard - content is not downloadable or exportable. Access to program content is granted immediately upon successful payment and remains active for the duration of the 12-week package. Upon expiry, program content is no longer accessible until the package is renewed. Progress history and purchase records are retained indefinitely.
04. COACHING TIERS
AfroFit Academy offers three coaching tiers: Foundation, Accelerate, and Elite. Tier differences apply to coach check-in frequency and support priority only - all tiers access the same program content. Coach communication is conducted exclusively via WhatsApp. AfroFit Academy does not guarantee specific response times outside of business hours.
05. EBOOKS
eBooks are standalone digital products sold separately from coaching packages. Once purchased, eBooks are permanently accessible from your account. eBooks are provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute personalised medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.
06. PAYMENT
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). AfroFit Academy does not store payment card details. By completing a purchase, you authorise AfroFit Academy to charge the amount displayed at checkout.
07. NO REFUND POLICY
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. AfroFit Academy does not offer refunds on coaching packages or eBooks under any circumstances. This includes but is not limited to: change of mind, failure to use the platform, dissatisfaction with results, or personal circumstances preventing participation. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy. If you have a concern about your purchase, please contact us at the details below and we will do our best to assist you.
08. HEALTH DISCLAIMER
AfroFit Academy programs are designed for general fitness purposes and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or qualified health provider before beginning any exercise or nutrition program. By completing the eligibility assessment and purchasing a coaching package, you confirm that you have disclosed any relevant health conditions and accept full responsibility for your participation.
09. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All program content, eBooks, branding, and materials on the AfroFit Academy platform are the intellectual property of AfroFit Academy. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any platform content without prior written permission.
10. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. AfroFit Academy is not liable for any unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to safeguard your login details.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfroFit Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to injury, illness, or loss resulting from participation in any program.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
AfroFit Academy reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
